Waiting on a Court Date

Well, I just heard from our agency and she said we should have a court date by the end of this week... Yeah!!!!!! We were also told that all adoptions that were not previously started are on hold. This makes us sad, as there are so many wonderful children needing good homes, and all of these delays slow the process down...... Here is a new picture of Nadya. Our church just got back from their 12 day mission trip and had a wonderful time. Nadya is on the right side dressed in blue....

Introduction

Click on the picture to see it in larger format. On the top is a picture of Nadya from Doug's Mission trip in January. She was all dressed up for her performance in "The Snowflake Dance." Doug said she did an awesome job! Above is a picture from our visit trip in April. This is Nadya in front of the orphanage where she has spent the last year of her life. Prior to this, she was at a different orphanage. It wasn't too cold, but the children are required to wear their outside gear when they go outside in the winter.

We've created this Blog so that we can keep everyone updated on our adoption process. Right now we are waiting for a court date. After we receive our court date we should be in Russia for about two weeks. We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything!
